Yorkshire Water is investing £5.5 million in two wastewater treatment plants that will help to improve the water quality of the river Dearne and river Don.
Specialist engineering and construction company Murphy further strengthened financial position in 2023 - profits were up 50%, while an already strong order book increased by 31% from 2022 to over £3.3 billion of contracted revenues, according to its financial results for the year ended 31 December 2023.
