Northumbrian Water is progressing work on its £155 million Project Pipeline: County Durham and Tees Valley - a tunnel is set to be installed beneath the River Tees, near Barnard Castle, to enable a the new water pipeline to be constructed while protecting the watercourse and the wildlife that relies upon it.
Scottish Water is offering Ross-shire residents a further opportunity to discuss a proposal for a new pipe to supply water to a hydrogen production plant next to Beinn Tharsuinn Windfarm, west of Edderton, at a drop-in consultation event on Tuesday, 23 April from 3pm to 7.30pm at Ardross Hall.
Northumbrian Water is investing a total of £16 million in two new pipelines to add resilience and capacity and enhance the existing sewer network and help to protect the environment in Teesside.
Anglian Water’s @one Alliance are working across the county upgrading various water recycling centres (WRC), installing new equipment which will remove phosphorous from wastewater which will improve the river water quality within Lincolnshire.
Further damage to the Woodburn Reservoirs, Carrickfergus, over the Easter holidays has resulted in NI Water taking steps to close access to some of its sites.
