Anglian Water has gone out to tender with a contract for the supply and billing of non half hourly metered electricity worth an estimated £106.3 million in total.

The water company is looking for a provider to supply electricity on a flexible purchasing basis - estimated total quantity required is a total volume of circa 76 GWh.

TheAnglian Water has 7100 non half hourly sites all of which are ‘quarterly’ metered - approximately 4600 sites have automatic meter reading capability.

The water company is looking to award a contract to a single supplier for an 5-year term, with a further extension options of up to 5 years in total.
