Coventry City Council has gone out to tender with a contract for civil engineering support framework worth an estimated £16 million.

The Council is seeking to put a framework in place predominately to provide additional support to the Council's Highway department.
The framework is being tendered in two separate Lots:
- Lot 1 – Minor Civil Engineering Projects and Ironworks up to the value of £25,000 (up to £4 million) Scope of works includes adjustment and replacement ocarriageway ironwork/minor civils works in association with resurfacing and other surface treatments. The work tends to be planned rather than reactive type work.
- Lot 2 - Civil engineering projects between the value of £25,000 and £500,000 (up to £12 million) Scope of works includes reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage, channels and edgings.
The Council is looking to appoint up to seven suppliers to the framework agreement. – which will run from 1 May 2025 to 30 April 2029 with potential extension options available.
