The Environment Agency has gone out to tender with a contract for mapping and modelling services worth up to an estimated £45 million in total.

The Agency is looking to put a framework agreement that will be utilised for a number of requirements, including: -

  • national modelling.
  • fluvial, open coast, coastal erosion and tidal modelling.
  • survey and mapping.
  • surface water modelling (direct rainfall).
  • ground water modelling.
  • sewer modelling
  • other - project management support, emerging technologies, development & incorporation (e.g., weather modelling) etc.

 

The Environment Agency is looking to appoint up to six delivery partners to the framework which will operate on a single National Lot.

The total estimated value of the Framework based a four year (48 month) duration is put at between £24,487,000 - £45,000,000.
