Northern Ireland Water has awarded a number of contracts for its Integrated Partnerships Framework to support delivery of its proposed water and sewerage capital investments worth an estimated £1.68 billion in total.

The contract was tendered in three separate Lots - services to be provided under Lot 1 for Water and Sewerage Infrastructure Works include:

  • Dredging and pumping works for water treatment plant installations
  • Pipelaying construction work
  • Pipeline relaying works
  • Construction work for water and sewage pipelines
  • Water-main refurbishment construction work
  • Sewer construction work
  • Engineering works and construction works

 

Services to be provided under Lot 2 for Water and Sewerage Non Infrastructure Works include:

  • Sewage treatment works
  • Wastewater treatment plant construction work
  • Sewage plant equipment
  • Pumps
  • Sewage digesters
  • Sludge-dewatering plant construction work
  • Water purification plant construction work
  • Pumping station construction work
  • Sludge-treatment works

 

Lot 3 for Water and Sewerage Infrastructure and Non Infrastructure Works involves a combination of services to be provided under Lots 1 and 2.

Ten companies were in the bidding for Lot 1 Water and Sewerage Infrastructure Works (£240 million) - the following four companies have been appointed to the framework:

  • AG Wilson Ltd
  • BSG-Phace Group
  • Civco Ltd
  • Deane Public Works Ltd

 

Eleven companies tendered for Lot 2 Water and Sewerage Non Infrastructure Works (£240 million) - successful suppliers appointed to Lot 2 are:

  • BSG-AGW Group
  • Geda-WSI
  • Jacopa-Deane (JD Water Ltd)
  • Lowry Building and Civil Engineering

 

NI Water received a total of 9 bids in total for Lot 3 for Water and Sewerage Infrastructure and Non Infrastructure (£1.2 billion). The following companies have been appointed to the Framework:

  • BSG Civil Engineering Ltd
  • Deane-Lowry-Jacopa (DLJ Water Ltd)
  • Farrans-Glan Agua
  • Geda Construction
  • John Graham Construction Ltd
  • Murphy Dawson WAM
