NI Water has gone out to tender with a contract for occupational health services worth an estimated £1.4 million.
Scope of the contract is to provide occupational health services to both current employees and new starts.
Services to be provided under the wide-ranging contract include:
- telephone & desk top advice services
- video appointments
- employment referrals
- attendance management advice and assessments
- ill health retirement advice
- pre appointment checks
- clear guidance and advise in relation to fitness for task and safety critical work at locations across NI
- health surveillance services
- hearing tests
- drugs & alcohol testing
- support with neurodiversity assessments, to include dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia.
- physiotherapy services
- attendance at employment and tribunals and courts as a witness
Initial contract term is 36 months with potential extension options for up to a further four years
