NI Water has gone out to tenders with a framework contract for water and wastewater pumps with an estimated total value of £40 million – scope of the contract covers supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repairs and supply of spare parts for pumps and mixers.

The contract is being tendered in the following nine Lots:

  • Lot 1 Submersible Sludge/Sewage Pumps - £20,000,000
  • Lot 2 Submersible Potable/Clean Water Pumps - £6,000,000
  • Lot 3 Progressive Cavity Pumps - £3,000,000
  • Lot 4 Peristaltic Pumps - £800,000
  • Lot 5 Diaphragm Pumps (single and double) - £1,700,000
  • Lot 6 Centrifugal End Suction Pumps - £600,000
  • Lot 7 Split Case Pumps - £5,800,000
  • Lot 8 Vertical Suspended Bowl Pumps - £250,000
  • Lot 9 Vertical Multistage Pumps - £1,850,000

 

Initial term for contracts awarded is 2 years with up to a further five years in extension options. NI Water is looking to appoint up to 20 suppliers to the framework.
