Scottish Water and Scottish Water Horizons have gone out to tender with a contract for the operation, servicing, reactive maintenance and capital maintenance of their suite of wind power assets worth an estimated £836,000.

The contract is being tendered in three separate Lots for the wind power sites:

Lot 1 Wind Outer Hebrides

Lot 2 Wind Inner Hebrides & Ullapool

Lot 3 Wind Orkney

Scottish Water and Scottish Water Horizons are looking for suppliers for the operation, servicing, reactive maintenance and capital maintenance of their suite of wind power assets.

Successful contractors must be able to provide evidence of their ability to operate and service the asset types, together with delivering planned and reactive MEICA maintenance of the assets and component parts.

They will also need to be able to conduct root cause analysis and investigation of any failures, as well as maximising generation and asset availability.

The contract term is 7 years, together with 4 years extension options.
