Thames Water has awarded a number of framework contracts for the supply and maintenance of valves during AMP7 worth an estimated £24.4 million.

The water company has put framework agreements in place with a number of companies for the supply of valves either directly or on behalf of its contractors in AMP7, together with valve maintenance services. The valves will for use in both clean water and waste water operations.

The agreement was tendered in the following six Lots:

  • Lot 1: Isolation Valves
  • Lot 2: Non return Valves
  • Lot 3: Air Valves
  • Lot 4: Penstocks
  • Lot 5: Hydrants
  • Lot 6: Valve maintenance.

The agreements will run for an initial term of 3 years with further extensions options of up to five years.

The following companies have all been awarded framework agreements:

  • AVK UK Ltd (Lots 1,2B,3,5)
  • Gel Engineering Ltd (Lot 4B)
  • Glenfield Invicta Ltd (Lot 4A, 4B)
  • Ham Baker Ltd (Lot No: 64A, 4B)
  • HVL Solutions Ltd (Lot No: 6)
  • Industrial Valves Ltd (Lot 2B)
  • MGA Controls Ltd (Lot 2A)
