Thames Water has extended the deadline to submit tenders for a £70 million contract for construction work at its Mogden Sewage Treatment Works.

MOGDEN STW

The wide-ranging contract covers design, construction and commissioning of resilience works to the existing Mogden Sewage Treatment Works (STW) including:

  • improve the capacity of preliminary treatment
  • improve the resilience and capacity of primary and secondary treatment
  • improve the resilience of the Sludge and Digester Streams and prepare them for AMP8 work
  • provide additional onsite energy generation
  • enable the works to meet its flow and quality consent for population growth.

 

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate has now been put back by a further week from 1st July 2020 to 8th July 2020 – click here to access the tender documentation.
