Yorkshire Water has awarded an AMP7 framework contract for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) worth £18.33 million-plus.

The framework covers the provision of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and associated hardware alongside training, coding software, mobilisation support and technical support services.

The contract was tendered in the following separate Lots:

  • Lot 1 - new supply: design and supply solutions providing new assets
  • Lot 2 - discrete design and supply asset replacement solutions for integration to legacy assets
  • Lot 3 - legacy assets: standard solutions refresh and or upgrade for widespread adoption
  • Lot 4 - legacy assets: complex and or discrete upgrade solutions to address specific project scopes

 

Initial contract term is 4 years with a further 4 year extension option.

Schneider Electric Ltd. and Mitsubishi Electronic Europe BV have both been awarded a place on the framework - two of three companies tendered for the contract.
