Yorkshire Water has gone out to tender with a contract for operation and maintenance of industrial steam and large-scale bio gas low temperature, hot water boilers worth an estimated £1.5 million.

Services required under the contract include the operating of the boilers as well as the provision of routine boiler maintenance and ad hoc support for more invasive maintenance tasks requiring functional safety, root cause analysis and proof testing.

The initial contract term is 36 months with the potential option to extend further for 24 months.

The estimated value is based on the full potential contract term including renewal.
