Following the announcement that David Black is to stand-down from his role as Chief Executive, the Board of Ofwat has announced that it has appointed of Chris Walters, currently Senior Director, Price Review as the Interim Chief Executive from 30 August 2025.
Ofwat has just released an official statement confirming that Chief Executive David Black is to stand down.
Yorkshire Water has been fined £865,000, ordered to pay costs of £34,979.79 and a victim surcharge of £170 after a South Yorkshire water treatment works pumped out millions of litres of chlorinated water for almost a month.
