Defra Minister Steve Reed has told the House of Commons Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee that it is up to Thames Water to solve their issues of financial resilience and not for Government to tell a private company how to manage their finances.
Natural Resources Wales, Ofwat and the Environment Agency have written jointly to Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water to highlight significant concerns in the company’s water resources management plan (WRMP) Annual Review 2023/24 that require immediate action.
